Podcast image is mandatory and HUGE (and needs to be exactly squared)
-
I do realize that a podcast with an image is nice than none, however I tried to create a Podcast where I don't have a nice image for (yet), and it failed to create it as it is absolutely mandatory. It would be nice if castopod would warn me about suboptimal behaviour and let me proceed anyway. Perhaps it could ask whether it should insert a placeholder image or no image at all? Or just show a placeholder image? I never one? I am not sure, in any case, it should let me create a podcast without title image if I want to do so :-).

The image needs to be > 1400x1400 pixels which is huge. I only had smaller images around and needed to blow it up in a second program and upload that one. It would be great if castopod accepted that I have a 1024x1024 image for a podcast and let me proceed (again, it could warn me that the user experience is best with > 1400)

The image needs to be exactly squared. I had an image which was 1418x1400 pixels and it simply refused with an error message that was not entirely helpful (if i remember correctly). In a later version of castopod, it would be cool if it simply cropped the image itself.
